deploy/compose/docker-compose.yml:

Image: deploy/docker/Dockerfile (Node 22 Studio build → Rust 1.88 → Debian slim, user viewnova).

Start

.\scripts\up.ps1

.env (gitignored) is generated with POSTGRES_PASSWORD on first use. Migrations run when the control plane starts.

Important Compose env:

• VION_CONFIG_FILE=/etc/viewnova/vion.toml
• VION_RESTART_POLICY=supervised
• VION_STUDIO_DIR — Studio dist path
• VION_ALLOW_INSECURE_HTTP=true (local only)

historian-writer is not in Compose; see separate install.

Health

/health may include configHash, restartRequired, setupRequired.
