First project

After setup, sign in as admin.

Studio with Vite (optional)

If the control plane serves the Studio dist, :8080 is enough. For development:

npm install
npm run dev

Open: http://127.0.0.1:5173 (proxy → :8080).

Flow

1. Projects — create a new project (main workspace + local target open).
2. Engineering — add folders and tags. Tag name: [A-Za-z_][A-Za-z0-9_]* (1–64).
3. For the source, choose inline behavior.source or connectionId + point from the Drivers catalog.
4. HMI — create a screen; bind a value widget to a tag.
5. Deployment — Validate → Publish → Activate.

On successful publish, an immutable revision and snapshot are created. Activation sends Stage + Activate over gRPC to the bound runtime.

Optimistic concurrency

Resource writes send expectedVersion. A stale version returns HTTP 409; the client reads the current version and retries. There is no silent overwrite.

Operator view

When the role is operator or the query is ?view=runtime, there is no Projects menu; only the HMI runtime shell opens.
